A brave new goomba-filled world

Nintendo released a new trailer for “Super Mario 3D World” this week showcasing new power ups and multiplayer.

New power ups include Cat Mario, which allows him to pounce on enemies and climb up walls, and the White Tanooki Suit, which appears to simply make Mario invincible.

“Super Mario 3D World” comes out Nov. 22 in North America for the Wii U.

Exclusive for a while

A YouTube video posted to the official PlayStation channel which advertises several PlayStation 4 launch titles and contracted developers reveals that there will be exclusive downloadable content for “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” “Watch Dogs” when they are released.

This exclusivity, however, only lasts for six months, after which the content can be released on an other platform the developers or publishers so choose.

“Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” will be a PlayStation 4 launch title, and “Watch Dogs” has been delayed until Spring 2014.

High definition Liberation on PS3 first

It was revealed on the PlayStation Blog that “Assassing’s Creed Liberation HD” will be available for download to the PlayStation 3 from the PlayStation store beginning January 14.

Ubisoft announced the HD remake of the PS Vita game last month, stating that it would be coming to the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

There is no word yet on plans for the Xbox 360 or PC versions of the game.
