This week’s new releases bring a port from the handheld onto console and a some PC games.
“The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief” (PC)
“The Raven” is a point-and-click game where you take on the roles of both a thief and a detective – the detective trying to capture the the thief, and the thief attempting to steal goods and escape.
Its style is similar to that of the Sherlock Holmes games. One note is that this is only the first installment of the game. It’s set to be an episodic release much like “The Walking Dead.”
Other Releases on 1/14:
“Banner Saga” (PC)
“Legends of Persia” (PC)
|Aveline’s adventure take to the PS3 and PC this week.|
“Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD” (PS3, PC)
“Liberation” originally came out on the Vita to some mixed feelings, but was still one of the best games to own on the handheld.
Taking place around the same time “Assassin’s Creed 3,” you play as the series’s first female assassin, Aveline, as she struggles to learn the way of the Assassins and deal with the Templar threat that plagues New Orleans.
Boasting upgraded graphics and improved gameplay for just $20, this seems like a solid buy.
That about does it for this week! Keep checking back for next weeks releases!
