“Castlevania: Lords of Shadows 2” (PS3, 360)
The follow up to the original “Castlevania: Lords of shadow” casts us in the role of Dracula, formerly known as the hero Gabriel Belmont, who embarks on a quest to defeat Satan’s acolytes again and free himself from his immortal curse. Keeping the same combat style from “LoS,” this time around Dracula uses his new to us vampiric powers to clash with his enemies.
“Thief” (PS3, PS4, Xbox One, 360, PC)
|Take control of master thief Garrett in this week’s release.|
After a while away from consoles, “Thief” makes its return. Playing as master thief Garret, you are to steal, loot and plunder anything you see. Fans of the classic “Thief” games will be pleased to know that you have the option to change the settings to match the original difficult style of the games.
“Tales of Symphonia Chronicles” (PS3)
“Tales of Symphonia” is one of the most beloved games in the “Tales” series, and now it has been brought back, given the spit-shine to make it HD, and bundled with its follow-up “Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World” all exclusively on the PlayStation 3. Not shabby for $40.
“Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare” (Xbox One, 360, PC)
Take “Plants vs. Zombies” and add “Team Fortress 2” and this is what you get. A class-based shooter that is silly as it is fun. Each class has different skills to unlock, so it’s up to you to decide which class is best suited for you.
“Professor Layton and the Azran” Legacy (3DS)
What is said to be the final game in the “Professor Layton” series, it’ll have more puzzles, a new story, and is looking to be a good closer for our dear professor.
