New releases – week of April 4, 2014

“Titanfall” (Xbox 360)

After weeks of delays, “Titanfall” finally launches on the Xbox 360 a month after it launched on the Xbox One.

Promising all of the modes and gameplay features of the Xbox One version, developer Bluepoint Games promises it will be the same game – just tweaked to deal with the difference in console power.

“Kinect Sports Rivals” (Xbox One)

The sequel to the Xbox 360’s “Kinect Sports,” this game is set to take full advantage of the Kinect 2.0 and its capabilities.

“Rivals” scans your body and facial features to create an in-game version of yourself so you can play sports like rock climbing, jet skiing and soccer as yourself.

Oh, and for the “Doctor Who” fans, the game is narrated by David Tennet, also known as the Tenth Doctor.

“Lego The Hobbit” (3DS, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation , PlayStation 4, Wii U, PC)
Bilbo Baggins and crew take on Lego baddies this week.

Following the movie’s release, “Lego The Hobbit” follows the events of the movies – you guessed it – Lego form.

Included in the game are the stories from both “The Hobbit” and “The Desolation of Smaug” with the final film, “There and Back Again,” set to release as downloadable content later in the year when the movie comes out.

“The Wolf Among Us” Episode 3: “A Crooked Mile” (PS3, 360, PC)

The next episode of TellTale Games’ episodic game “The Wolf Among Us” is set to push the story that has been building up in the first two episodes to a high point.
