“Halo 2 Anniversary” cinematic launch trailer released

A cinematic trailer for 343 Industries’ “Halo 2 Anniversary” was released today featuring clips from the various cut scenes in the game.

“H2A” is just one part of “Halo: The Master Chief Collection,” which also includes “Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary,” “Halo 3” and “Halo 4” all running at 1080p resolution and sixty frames per second, as well as the live-action miniseries “Halo: Nightfall” and access to the multiplayer beta for “Halo 5.”

Every cut scene from “Halo 2” has been remastered by Blur Studio, the company responsible for the cinematic trailers for “Star Wars: The Old Republic” and VFX work on the movie “Avatar.”

The studio also created a prologue and epilogue to bookend the games included in the “MCC” that features “Halo 5” character Jameson Locke and serves to lead players into the story of the next installment in the “Halo” series.

Locke is also the main character of “Halo: Nightfall,” which is also included in the collection.

It is safe to say that the “Halo” universe has never looked this good.

“Halo: The Master Chief Collection” will be available on Xbox One Nov. 11.
