Xbox One gets a price cut for the holiday season

It was revealed today that all Xbox One consoles will receive a $50 price cut starting Nov. 2 in the US.

In addition to the base model console without a Kinect sensor, the reduction includes the “Assassin’s Creed,” “Sunset Overdrive” and “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare bundles, making them all $350. Xbox One Kinect bundles are also reduced in price to $450.

Games included in the bundles come in the form of digital downloads, so those of us who like our physical media are out of luck. This eliminates the option of trading in the bundled game for credit toward another game of your choice at a retailer.

The price cut runs until Jan. 3.
