Tonight is video-game awards night!

The Game Awards 2014, an event to celebrate the gaming industry, will be premiering at the AXIS theatre in Las Vegas tonight.

The event features a performance by Imagine Dragons and includes over a dozen other video-game world premieres, according to Geoff Keighley, the show’s producer.

If you reside in Las Vegas or want to make the drive, tickets are still on sale as of the time of writing.

“Destiny” expansion trailer hits the streets

The newest trailer released for “Destiny Expansion 1: The Dark Below” reveals new weapons and armor as well as a light-level cap increase. New story missions, a new raid and cooperative strike will also be part of the release.

The expansion will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 beginning Dec. 9.

A PlayStation anniversary

Playstation turned twenty years old on Wednesday. Whether your a fan or not, Sony’s systems have surely brought us many a memory in these two decades. Whether it be button mashing in “Tekken 2,” wreaking havoc in “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City,” or spending late nights with “Final Fantasy,” the PlayStation is fondly remembered.
